I worked within the travel industry for many years. My career choice is what brought me to Lanzarote over 12 years ago, and I have now married and had my family here. Together my husband and I have invested in various properties including two houses in Playa Blanca which we bought solely to place on the rentals market over five years ago. To say that I felt nervous about planning an interior space which would be used by people for their holidays is an understatement. I could have free reign on our personal home but how would I create a space for people to spend their holidays in, ensuring that they would also feel at home? However, once the project was underway I found that it was an absolute pleasure and my thirst for learning more started to take hold. I decided that I would like to learn new skills but also use all of the skills I had been using in my chosen career for so many years. When a friend asked me to take control of their project on a three bedroom house I jumped at the chance, and the opportunities have been building ever since then.

My Mum (Caroline) has now moved to Lanzarote full time and the door has opened for us to be able to work as a team. Mum is a trained upholsterer and seamstress and for as long as I can remember I have watched her work with soft furnishings to transform an ordinary room into a customized and homely living space. Together we have worked on both home staging projects and private home projects.
